The Phil takes you on a journey from the ice of Finland to the beaches of Spain, and back again. Guitar takes center stage in an unprecedented Masterworks experience, featuring guitarist, Jason Vieaux. In the Concierto de Aranjuez, Rodrigo marries the relatively small voice of the classical guitar with the sound of the full orchestra. Almost reminiscent of Beethoven, Sibelius’ third symphony is among his most beloved, and rounds out the evening’s journey.
